A flood of emotion
within a flood
of memories
might open the floodgates
and burst into
A flood of tears

And when those tears
get Kissed by the sun
Instead of cheering up
having fun

we let it rain

A sea of faces
within a sea
of love and hate
has given rise to
a sea of madness
and insanity

and as we shout
make love not war
the aftermath
still at our door

but as we know that stormy weather
is blowing grief and dust away
insanity is human nature
as much as nature means insanity

and when we drown in an ocean
of tears.
